Respected Sir,
Will you please allow me a column in your esteemed and well-circulated daily to express my deep concern over social and moral degeneration in recent times to make a public opinion against it?
At present time, we find extreme erosion of social and moral values in our society. Inhuman and brutal activities such as – robbery, kidnapping, theft, threatening, humiliating, torture on women and even hooliganism are on the rise day by day. No one prefers to lead joint families with parents, brothers and sisters for being self-centred. Indisciplinary, disobedience, irresponsibility and non-co-operative attitude are the common phenomenons in people’s dealings. The seniors are not paid due respect. The aged parents are sent to the old man’s house for getting relief from their burden. Helpless and injured persons in the streets face death for the indifference of people. For grabbing property, a son murders his own father and even a mother kills her own child for being unwanted.
For the well-being of society, social and moral values are so urgent. To stop its decay people from all corners of society should come forward and take an effort to restore it.
