Do you know how many months are there in the year? Yes, there are 12 months in the year according to the modern English calendar. A year is started from JANUARY (month 1) and end in DECEMBER (month 12). But do you know the names of all the months and how many days they have? And which seasons in which months? What is a leap year?
There are 365 days in a year, as we all know. Every four years, however, there is a year with 366 days, including a 29-day February month. The year with 366 days is known as a ‘leap year,’ and February 29th is known as a ‘leap day’.
How do you know if a year is a leap year?
It’s very easy to say immediately which year is a leap year. The years that can be divided by 4 are called ‘Leap Years’. For examples, 1988, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2020 etc. are leap years.
