7 Colours of Rainbow | What are the seven colours of the rainbow?
We all know that there are seven colours in the rainbow. When the white colour of the sunray is scattered by a water droplet, it always breaks into seven colours in this order:

- ORANGE ↣ ORANGE
- YELLOW ↣ YELLOW
- GREEN ↣ GREEN
- BLUE ↣ BLUE
- INDIGO ↣ INDIGO
- VIOLET ↣ VIOLET
Sometimes, these seven colours coincide with each other as a shape of arc and this is called a rainbow.

The reason behind this matter is the different wavelengths of different colours.
Yes, wavelengths. The wavelength of light rays of each colour is not equal. The wavelengths of each colour ray are different. The ray which has the highest wavelength is scattered at the highest angle. Among the Seven colours of white light, red has the highest wavelength and so, it is scattered at the highest angle. On the other hand, as purple light has the shortest wavelength, it scatters at the lowest angle.
